Carolling, latest changes and updates!

announcements and reminder for carolling!
I think most of us are in team A right. here are the dates that we are suppose to sing:
12dec(friday) 7.30pm.
-we will be meeting at 6.30, at the control station in bedok mrt.
13dec(saturday) 7.30pm and 8.30pm.
-we will be meeting at 6.30, at the control station of hougang mrt.
19dec(friday) 7.30pm.
-we will be meeting at 6.30, at the control station in bedok mrt.
Attire will be white blouse with black bottoms and dark shoes. with christmas hats:) haha.
Remember to bring your song booklets, maybe some money? idk.
Hope all of your can make it for the sessions. let's bring the spirit of christmas to the people, singing for the glory of God and having fun too! haha.

Hi girls! Hope you all had a fun time at carolling rehearsal today... thanks Joanne, for posting up the carolling dates! Nicole, thanks for helping me with the Christmas lunch submission today too. :)

The next few weeks is gonna be busy for most of us... some of you involved with carolling. Those who are not, I'd encourage you to join! Or at least join them in rehearsal this Friday at 525. Sing along with them or take photos of them!! I think it'll be fun! :) I will also be busy with Christmas rehearsals for the next few weekends and probably won't be able to see you all much. Wanna encourage you to continue to spend time with God and read the Bible, even if you're busy with CCAs, working, or going out with friends... Without spiritual food in our lives, we'll soon grow dry and weary. Seek first His Kingdom ok?

Also, do remember to pray for next year's Alpha which will be starting in January! Pray for the 3 people in your triplet list ok? And re-write your testimonies! hehe...

Sharon, Nicole, Joanne - next Sunday I can't come for service. If any of you wanna meet me for anything - prayer, advice, equipping - pls let me know, we try to arrange to meet on either Friday or other weekdays to catch up :)

i decided to post! ohyeah, reminder for those that are in carolling.
start writing this down:
5Dec(Friday)
- i think at night have prac together with the guitarists. last rehearsal as a whole.
- Will also be breaking up into small groups to go to different places (according to the dates you are available and your friends)

actual carolling dates:
12 Dec, Friday night
13 Dec, Saturday afternoon & night
19 Dec, Friday night
20 Dec, Saturday afternoon & night
24 Dec, Wednesday night

yupp. but i don't think we will go for all ya, very tiring:/

hi girls, i long time didnt blog le....keep forgetting e login...hehe....just wanna tank e lord for what he has done for us...during e power encounter, there was one session where we all tore the stronghold sheet, i just wanna thank god for forgiving my sins and also giving miie a whole new start to walk on a new path...the most exciting part is when all of us have received e gift of tongues and all of us stand in a circle and pray in tongues together....and also, e most surprising thing is that my parents have actually bought a pesent for miie! its like huh? kind of thing lorh hahas...i was so stunt when xiao jun told miie that it was from my parents because they hardly buy a present for miie...another thing is i wanna thank my mentor for praying for miie through times when i've difficulty and i know that i'm not running e race alone and when i fall, there is somone holding miie on, and wont give up on miie....thanks alot....and oh ya! prayer request,......i hope all of you will pray for my cousin and family....pray that i can bring salvation to them and that they will trust in the lord for i do not want to see them go to hell...and also pray that i can draw as many ppl as i can to the kingdom of GOD so that they will be saved....and also pray that my friends will share what i have said to their parents so that their family members will be saved as well.....thanks.

hey girls.
wow, what a amazing weekend i experienced with you people:D i believe God has touched us deeply and did miraculous things within us. i'm sure each and every one of you have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, now do you know that you have the strength to overcome sins? i think as long as we have this constant thought to rebuke every evil, i believe God has his own ways of winning the evil one, ya? power encounter really made me realise that God will always be there for you! whether be it when you've strayed away or have not been touching the bible for a long while. He loves you and thinks you are special in his eyes and will never let you go:D so with this in mind, we are able to see how sacrificial and kind his love is. for the gift of tongues. when cheh anna and cheh xiaojun prayed for me, i was like stunned. i was really afraid of speaking it out? hahha. but i believe we can have the faith to like SAY IT OUT. but when the mentors left to pray for other people, i relaxed. HAHA. but i'm so happy, i got it! yay. i can now pray in tongues, and i realise one thing: when you focus on God, what comes out is a "language" BUT when you think about how people will hear what you're saying, what comes out is baby language. you know what i meant? hahaha.
ok, i think i exprienced much more than that and i truly thanked God for what he's done:D

Hellooo... anyone there??

This blog is really dead! Why aren't you girls posting?? Ok, lemme try and bring this blog back to life! =P

Since it's the school hols now, why don't you girls share about what you've been up to? :)

Anyway, it's POWER ENCOUNTER this weekend! For those who are going, are you excited? I believe God is going to do something amazing... do take this week to go through the sins list. Pray and ask God to reveal to you what are some of the sins and strongholds in your life, whether it is in the past or now. Noone's gonna see your list because it is something private, between you and God, so pls be completely honest. Remember to bring the list on Sat ya? Very important for the Encounter... Meanwhile, continue to pray and seek the Lord.

Hey girls, I know it's common tests period now.. If any of you have specific prayer requests, feel free to blog here and we'll keep you in prayer ok? :)

Coming Sat is alpha weekend - continue praying for your friends! Those of you who haven't managed to invite your friends for any alpha sessions yet, ask God for a breakthrough! Pray specifically for:

Desiree: that she will come for alpha and be touched by God's love
Tomas: that he will be able to connect well with the boys and the leaders, and that God will do a miraculous tranformation in his life
The Holy Spirit to move in our midst; that our friends will be able to sense God's presence; that we will see salvations; and that our members will hunger for the Spirit and be refreshed once again!
Claim God's promise released through Ps Andrew Yeo during church camp, that indeed GenActs will multiply through this season of alpha!!

i am just a freak??!!

yesterday was e day i have felt so low and felt tat i am usless. i cant beleive it larh. is tat when you look at e direction where e person whom you dont know really must be insulted in such a way tat i am freak? must it really be this way? i found it hard to forgive her and e worst, cant forget about it. e sentence that she said has truely hurt miie by putting a deep cut in my heart. i mght seem fine on the outside but you never know wats inside of miie. am i really just a freak? this question has been pondering over miie yesterday when i slept. you might think tis is funny,hilarious or even crazy. but wait till you get insulted by being called something which you really is not one and you will understand how i felt. i know she is diagnose wif illness and tats y i have showed grace upon her. dont get miie wrong i mean we show grace to everybody rite? especially those who really nids help. this is an example. truely speaking, i was not really able to take it yesterday. but i told myself to be calm or else my hand would have landed on her face. i know i do not have e authority to do it but you all should know tat patient does have a limit. once you push it too far, something unexpected would happen to you. i was accused for something i did not do. is this really fair to miie? i mean i am innocent! I AM INNOCENT!! :'(

hi gals...i long time did not blog le. not because i dont want is i forgot e blog usename and password=p and also no time=p anyway, tis blog has become so dead...nobody has post other than miie aft around 2 weeks ma? hahas maybe you all really no time bah....yesterday while training something happened to miie. i was training half way when i suddenly felt a little giddy so i closed my eyes and e next thing i noe was i was hit by e ball....my first reaction was ouch! who was that? then aft tat my teacher got miie a pack of ice and i put it on my thigh there. it was pain but quite fun and relaxing cause i got excuse not to train hehe=p (sounds bad i noe) i everyday also verri tired lorh....maybe because i did not have enough slp and also because too stress in skool bah...any of you there in e tribe noes how to play beach vollyball? want to play together someday? i shall stop writing... anyway, its my dads b'dae today!=)

yesterday was youth alpha and sharon&nicole both brought their friends/cousin to youth alpha, yea.pray that yvonne & desiree will be able to come next youth alpha, im looking frward seeing your tomorrow in church. My prayer request this week is that i'll be able to fast sucessfully and also will be able to bring a friend to youth alpha next week :]

hello everyone from noah tribe!! wow... it's exciting to see this blog turn alive! thanks for ALL your sharing & prayers! :)

i'm very encouraged to see you all so fired up for youth alpha! and also by all your enthusiasm and excitement in inviting your friends... God will indeed honour your obedience even as you take a step of faith to invite your friends! i know some of your friends may not be able to come this friday, or some of you may be still unsure who to invite and how. i just want to encourage you all to keep praying and ask God to show you ways you can reach out to your friends. it may not necessary be through youth alpha, but it could simply be your act of kindness to them in school. so don't give up ok!

Hi gals! its been a few days since we met and i cant wait to see you gals already. y? cause god said tat when two or more ppl are gathered together, he will be in our mist. Remember e last day of e church camp? i beleive all of you have really experience e presence of e lord when He touched you rite? well as for myself, i felt tat e lord is really using miie nowadays as i try to draw more friends for e youth alpha. i may not noe if i could bring salvation to them but i belief tat e lord will guide miie through and share e word of the lord to them. i really hope tat this year's youth alpha will be a exciting and fufilling one tat everyone will come to know e lord even more!

hey girls, i see that this blog is coming alive! and that is really great(: Sharon and yiqian have been sharing their prayer requests and praying for the entire tribe which is what we all want to see in this group! goood work loves. heh. now, its my turn!
dear heavenly father, i thank you so much for your renewed strength and guidance that has been with us from the beginning of this week till now. Lord, even as week 3 of term3 is coming to an end for us students, i pray oh lord, that we will be able to manage our time wisely. so as to fulfill all our commitments and homework too. whether be it CCA, or other activities after sch? we ask for your presence to just fill us even as we are in our diff schools. Lord, as youth alpha is just a few days away, i ask for your wisdom and patience. why wisdom and patience? wisdom so as to ask our friends in the right way? a way that represents your character, a light that shines for you. So that our friends will see that, hey, so and so's personality is really outstanding! she has a heart of compassion, one that is kind and so on. and when your friends know that because you ARE a christian, then they will be able to be convinced to come for this alpha, having that sense of hope of becoming some one like you(: worthy in God's eyes ya! and why patience? yknow sometimes, our friends DO reject our invitations..this makes us feel really rejected, like WHYme? WHY you don't wanna come?? WHY you keep saying nonono?? that kind of thing. but now i speak patience! Jesus said if you wait upon the Lord....great things will happen? YES! so don't give up so easily, cos when God sees that you're sincere in bringing a soul to Christ, God will surely provide a way for you(: Lord, i just ask of these two things before the first launch session of alpha. Be with us, as we glorify your name:DD

dear heavenly father i pray tat each and everyone of us in this tribe lord will have a peaceful mind and heart when they go to e youth alpha tis coming fri. I pray for e leaders lord tat they will have no stress even at their workplace lord and may you send e holy spirit to guide them lord. i pray jie jie diana lord as she is falling sick often nowadays lord i pray tat you will take awwy all e pain and sicknesss from her lord i pray tat she can have a strong and healthy body lord tat no sicknesses can fall upon her lord. i also pray for all e students in this tribe includiing myself lord tat as we are struggling to finish those homework tat e skool teachers has assigned for us lord i pray tat we will be able to finish them on time and lord i also tat as all of are going through e 40 days prayer fast lord i pray that we will be able to have a breakthrough in whichever ways and watever we pray for lord. i pray tat you blessed each and everyone in e tribe in jesus name i pray amen.

Hi girls as youth alpha is coming, i beleive you guys are bz inviting friends to go for e alpha rite? as you are doing tat, don't forget to pray wor...ask god for names and also e ppl who needs help. Draw out to those ppl who are always keeping quiet or always having problems with either homework or family problems bah. I am just giving some ideas so maybe you can use them to draw more friends bah. As for nicole, i pray tat you will have e courage and also have e faith to reach to your friends who are in trouble or friends tat you think tat they needs help or someone to be by there side to comfort hem. I also pray tat e words tat you speak to them will be able to touch their hearts and bring salvation to them. in jesus name i pray amen. You too yi qian and the others as well!

hey girls!
i just made this blog so that we can share about our expriences and our walk with God through our teen lives and for the mentors, their worklife(: haha. oh ya, if you have a blog, and you wanna be linked, just tag, or post. i'll tell your the password everthing nect week okay? as i mentioned in facebook, we can actually share our prayer requests everyweek in this blog. and then assign one member to be "on duty" to pray for everyone! this can show how much you care for each and every of our group members ya. i find it a good idea, so i hope that this PLAN can work, haha. yupp.
next, YOUTHalpha is drawing nearer and nearer. isn't that great? or bad? lols. let's pray for each other so that our friends will be able to make it and soon, they'll be lead to CHRIST in the power of the Holy Spirit(: amen? whoever that have doubts or worries about their friends agreeing to this invitation, i'll be praying for you girls(: so don't worry! haha.
